To everyone who always watches our work,
to those who support us,
and to those who quietly watch over us.

I wanted to take this opportunity
to put into words once again what we value as we continue to run our company.

tenko's company is a creator-first company ✨
And we will continue to aim for creator-first always.

This company
was founded by tenko's guardian and the creator Riku,
a small company started by just the two of us.

We founded and established it on
July 29, 2024 📅

Please allow me to tell you a little bit
about why we chose this day 🍀

July 29, 2024, was a day when Tensha-nichi, Ichiryū-manbai-bi, and Taian all coincided.
It is a very auspicious day, known as a "Triple Lucky Day."

Tensha-nichi
is considered the most auspicious day in the calendar, when the heavens forgive all sins.
It is said to be a good day to start something new.

Ichiryū-manbai-bi
means that one grain of rice will multiply ten thousand times,
a day to wish for small beginnings to grow large 🌱

Taian
is considered auspicious for everything, a day to proceed with things with peace of mind.

And on this day,
in addition to those, Boso-nichi also coincided.

Boso-nichi
is "a day when the heavens show mercy to people as a mother nurtures her child,"
and it is said to be a day suitable for not rushing things, but steadily and carefully nurturing them 🤍

We didn't launch the company on this day because we wanted to gain momentum,
or because we wanted to make it seem big.

"We want to create a place where both works and people can be nurtured carefully."

The meaning of this day quietly aligned with that desire 🌱

We are active with the core belief of
"creating a place where creators are valued fairly."

In Japan, in the creative world including the anime industry,
while works reach many people and generate great value,
the reality has been that creators often do not receive adequate compensation for their efforts.
This has been widely discussed.

We are by no means blaming anyone.
However, since the act of creating a work, the creation itself,
requires time, physical strength, mental energy, and courage,
we sincerely wish for a world where its significance is properly acknowledged.

That is why, at tenko's company, we prioritize the idea that
creators should be well-off, both emotionally and financially, as a natural premise ✨

is not a company that can operate alone.
We want to be a company that walks alongside various creators we will meet in the future,
thinking, worrying, and laughing together.
